Manitoba Pinball OPEN ANNUAL League Season 7 Session 1 (S07S01)
Back for 2026 the Open Annual League Night, Wednesday January 28th, 2026. This is the 1st of 10 league sessions.
***Please note this is the only league night that is being held on the last Wednesday of the month. The remaining 9 sessions (February to October)
will be held on the second Tuesday of the month.***
Each player’s top 8 League Nights will count toward the qualifying standings to determine who will move onto the League Playoffs. Only players that participate in at least 5 League Nights will be counted as eligible for playoffs & IFPA WPPR value purposes.
League Nights:
League nights will consist of 6 total games played in 3 or 4 player groups. Match points will be awarded based on a player’s finishing position on each game they play (7/5/3/1). Players will be randomly placed in new groups for each game.
League Finals:
League Playoffs will be held to determine the winner of the league after all 10 league sessions have been completed. The format for this playoff will be a best-of-7, head-to-head single elimination bracket. The top 16 players will qualify. Playoff date & time, & location TBD. We will also have a B & C division playoffs. For B & C divisions it will be a papa style 4,2,1,0 3 game round. It will have 8 players in B and 8 players in C.

Thanks so much for reaching out. We would love to have you come out and play pinball and have fun with us. There is no need to register or sign up for anything. All you need to do is to pay attention on the events tab on the website and go to whatever event you’d like to attend. Our next OPEN League (for anyone and everyone) starts on Wednesday January 28th, 2026 at Phantom Amusement. However if you’re looking for more pinball there are some new leagues and tournaments being held at Smash N Axe Arcade Disco at 1763 Henderson Highway in the basement of the Norvilla before our next league starts. The events at Smash N Axe aren’t run by the Manitoba Pinball League, they’re run by the owners of Smash N Axe but you can get more information about those events on their website. Hope that helps. Are we going to get all the dates on the online calendar? I started putting them in my phone’s calendar but following the “every second Tuesday” model, there appear to be some nights where it conflicts with Open League nights at Iceberg.

The biweekly league will be every second Tuesday starting on February 3. The annual (monthly) league will start on the Wednesday January 28th. After that it will be the 2nd Thursday of every month. There are no dates for the mpl that clash with each other. We may have some dates that clash with smashing axe, but they plan their own events so we have no control over that. We have tried our best this year for dates not to clash but with 2 different bodies now planning events it makes it more difficult
