Manitoba Pinball Championship Event 2 Playoffs

CERTIFIED MPC Classic/Mid Match Play Main Event

Qualifying: (10 rounds total) 

• Friday 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM 
  • 5 rounds / 2 games per round
• Saturday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM 
  • 5 rounds / 2 games per round
• 7/5/3/1 scoring
• Tiered swiss pairing
• 250% WPPR estimate

Playoffs: (10 rounds of 4-player groups)

• Saturday 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Top 24 in A Division 

• Top 16 get prize money and Top 8 Get hardware 

• B division (eligible): top 4 players after top 24 (players ranked 1-1500 as of April 24 not eligible for B division). 

• Winner gets hardware

• After qualifying is done, if two or more players are tied for final playoff spot(s), they will play a one-game playoff (random game & order) to determine seeding. This will take place immediately when qualifying ends.
• Players tied for seed will be broken by most 1st and 2nd 
• Players will play 3 games per round with 4-2-1-0 scoring, with the top 2 players advancing to the next round. Top seed picks game and order of 1st game (lowest score of playoff game gets choice of order for next game in that bank). A player cannot pick the same game once it has been picked until final 4 where then the final group will start fresh again 
• If there’s a tie after 4 games to advance or any spot 1st-4th place overall, top seed will have a choice of order on the tie-breaker machine.
